• Financial Requirement: The sponsoring partner must meet a minimum income threshold of £18,600 per year. Higher thresholds apply if there are dependent children.
• Accommodation: Must have adequate accommodation for both partners.
• English Language Proficiency: The applicant must meet English language requirements (e.g., pass an English language test or hold an accepted qualification).
• Visa Duration: Must not have any serious criminal convictions or immigration violations.
